A classic Ilocos comoda conforming to most, if not all, of Ilocos diagnostics. The corniced top with beads and grooves adds height and subtle ornamentation.
The cabinet doors are appliquéd with double lancet arches with gumamela or hibiscus flower and foliated scrolls adorning the spandrels above. Inside is a shelf with two small drawers.
The posts on either side have vase, ball and ring turnings between the twisted rope shaft, then continue downwards into which the cabinet frame is tenoned through and become the inverted vase and cover feet.
The posts and the appliqués on the doors have been dark-stained to create a two-tone effect.
