This completely rebuilt Chevy Nova is the only one of its kind in the Philippines. Its exterior has been completely customized to reflect the aggressive dynamism of a ’69 Camaro, with round signal lights, and shaved front and rear bumpers. Camaro tail lights have been grafted to the rear to complete the look. Its grill, window frames and bumpers have been painted matte black to complement its Tierra del Fuego Grey paint job, further adding a touch of mysterious flair.
The car has more than enough grunt to match its exciting exterior, as its exhilarating exhaust note radiates from a completely rebuilt Chevy 5.7-liter, 350 cubic inch V8 engine. The engine is set up with a brand new 4-barrel 650 Edelbrock Carburetor, a black Chevy performance air filter with corresponding valve covers, and is outfitted with a high-energy ignition (HEI) distributor. Additional cooling is done by two electric auxiliary fans. Mated to the engine is a fully overhauled Turbo-Hydramatic 350 3-speed automatic transmission.
The entire interior features new upholstery, and has been completely redone in black to match the car’s color scheme. The dashboard features Comp II performance gauges by “Marshall”. High-neck race-inspired leather seats have been set up over new carpets, together with a “B&M – Quicksilver” shifter. Comfort and convenience hasn’t been compromised, as the car comes with air-conditioning, a 4-piece speaker system with an under-seat subwoofer, power steering, and front disc brakes. When it comes to standing out from the rest and feeling the thrill of muscle car magic, it doesn’t get any better, or more impressive than this.
