This massive 1950s round conference or dining table is made of narra. The grooved top that shines with soft tremulous golden color is made from one piece of wood measuring 66 1/2 inches in diameter.
The skirting around the table has alternating decorative / faux drawers and secret drawers that can be accessed from underneath. The drawer floor is made from narra ply. Supporting the heavy top is a robust pedestal that swells at the base with mouldings on four concaved sides that rest on corners with scrolls and leaves, and terminating with lion's paw feet with highly detailed claws, toes and pads.
